To complete our 30th consecutive season,
Longwood Opera is pleased to again be part of
New Years Needham

6:00pm-7:00pm, Saturday, December 31st

to celebrate the end of 2016 and ring in the New Year - 2017.

We will present a concert of operatic selections that will delight all ages.
J. Scott Brumit (General Director and Needham resident) will preside as the master of ceremonies.
Jeffrey Brody (Musical Director) will accompany
some of the finest Boston based singers for your enjoyment.

2016 Annual Auditions

Longwood Opera will not attend the Boston Singers Resource auditions this year.

We will be holding annual auditions for local, Boston based singers only
in Fellowship Hall at Christ Episcopal Church, 1132 Highland Avenue, Needham on

• Saturday April 9 from 2:00pm - 5:00pm
• Sunday, April 10 from 5:00pm - 8:00pm

We will be auditioning singers for
our annual July & August Tues evening summer concert series
and
our November 4 & 6 production of Verdi's Rigoletto
costumed, staged, and performed in English.

To obtain an audition time, send your current resume, photo and a cover letter to:
Longwood Opera, 42 Hawthorn Avenue, Needham, MA, 02492.

In your cover letter state your preferred date & time to be heard, and an e-mail contact.
We will do our best to accommodate your request.
We will let you know by March 25th your day and time of your audition.
Resumes received after March 25th will not be considered

Bring three selections. One should be in English, and can be a translation.
Because of time constraints we may be only able to listen to one selection.
An accompanist will be provided, but you may bring your own

and our
November 3, 4, & 5 production of
Humperdinck's Hansel & Gretel
costumed, staged and performed in English
